I am slowly building our little farm on permaculture principles. Currently we have chickens, geese and pigs. This spring we will add ducklings and turkeys.

My goal for next few years is to fully utilize the vegetable garden and store enough food for the winter in the freezer, root cellar, as preserves and ferments so I only have to drop by the grocery store for pantry staples. We'll also establish silvopasture and managed rotational grazing and investigate aquaponics to supply fresh vegetables durig winter.

I am very grateful to have found the place where I feel truly at home and where I can live close to nature.
